MATTHEW W. MAHONEY, ESQ.

Lead Attorney

For the past two decades, attorney Matt Mahoney has dedicated his life to getting the best outcomes for his clients. His results in Family Law, Criminal Law, Probate, and Personal Injury speak for themselves and have earned him national recognition.

Matt has been involved in private practice since graduating number 2 in his class from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He has represented numerous families in every aspect of family law including divorces, child custody disputes, child support disputes, and CPS matters. Matt also provides families with probate services including estate planning and guardianship.

On the criminal law side, Matt has represented numerous clients accused of every crime from Class C traffic tickets all the way up to first degree murder. No matter what you have been accused of, Matt Mahoney will make sure that you get your fair day in court and that you get the best outcome possible for your individual situation.

Matt is a family man who will always treat his clients like family. Many of his clients return for any of their future legal needs and refer him to others. In 2018, his dedication and service to his clients was recognized nationally when he was selected as one of the 10 Best Attorneys by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his 3 sons.

MATTHEW J. NIETEN, ESQ.

Of Counsel

Attorney Matthew Nieten of Nieten Law, PC was born in Florida and raised primarily right here in the Houston area. Mr. Nieten is an attorney with whom we frequently contract.

 

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Nieten worked at a national personal injury firm as a law clerk pursuing compensation for those harmed through faulty medical equipment and dangerous pharmaceutical drugs. While there, he managed and oversaw the filing of cases, engaged in discovery practice, and marshalled evidence for establishing liability in multiple pending litigations. Before that, he worked as a paralegal in a small law office that provided mainly family law services and some criminal defense.

Mr. Nieten is an Army Veteran who served his country proudly as a medic. Mr. Nieten uses his unique blend of legal and medical experience and knowledge to fight for his clients every day. As a prior in-house and insurance defense attorney, he knows how these businesses operate and how to maximize the return for his injured clients.

Mr. Nieten enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering with local scouting organizations.
